My name is Dawn Buchanan, and I have been in esthetics for 30 years.
I am a esthetician and makeup artist with training and experience working with burn victims. I also have experience in thalassotherapy lymphatic drainage for cancer patients. With my highly advanced skill set I was able to establish the first integrative therapy program at Women and Infants hospital.
In 1984 I opened my first day spa in southeastern New England. We were located in the Providence Westin Hotel for 10 years. We relocated to 403 South Main Street after the hotel was sold in 2013.
Today I own and operate Tir Na Nog Spa, which is located on the corner of Waterman Avenue and Commercial Way in East Providence, Rhode Island.
The spa is a perfect haven for tourists and residents alike.
I truly believe that we are the best day spa in Rhode Island, because of the high quality of services that we provide.

We aim to serve our clients with respect and integrity, with a great emphasis on quality of character from our therapists. It is my personal goal in the next 3 years to make Tir Na Nog Spa a medical focused on natural and holistic medicines.

The fabled paradise island of TÃr na nÓg is said to be located off of the west coast of Ireland. TÃr na nÓg is known as the land of perpetual youth. It is also named the Island of the Living, the island of Life, Brasil's Island, The Land of Promise, and the Land of Youth, among others.
The story of TÃr na nÓg is one of a land where time stands still. In legend, those on the island are said to never age, and they never grow old. It is said to be a land where there is no illness, and no sorrow. In stories the island is covered in blooming flowers which never die, orchards of fruit trees, and forests dripping with honey.
Days are filled with sports and mead. The climate is temperate, neither too hot nor too cold. Everyone who lives on the island is beautiful and young. They never suffer from pain nor illness, and they live a life of perpetual happiness.
